An original Stiltz format

Small footprint. A genuinely usable connection between floors.

The original Duo Classic was designed as an alternative to a conventional residential elevator or stair lift, with a self-supporting structure and quiet electric operation. Its placement flexibility was the point: a practical route between floors without a traditional shaft dominating the home.

Quiet electric drive

The current brochure describes a self-contained electric motor in the lift-car roof space, rather than conventional hydraulics or vacuum equipment.

Self-supporting rails

The dual-rail arrangement supports the lift without a conventional shaft or load-bearing wall.

Compact placement

A compact standing-passenger format intended for existing-home placement, including rooms, landings and stairwell-adjacent plans.

Backup lowering

The current brochure describes battery backup that lowers the lift to the lower floor in a power interruption.

Designed around the home

Placed where it made life easier—not where an elevator was expected to go.

Legacy Duo Classic guidance described modular equipment and a prepared standard installation in as little as one day. Every current project still begins with the full route, the openings, electrical requirements and finish restoration—not a vague promise and a brochure.
